I've seen a few pick and mix style lesson builders on Twitter recently and thought I'd show you my version for when I create worksheets. These are all tasks that allow pupils to practice the same vocabulary or chunks (à la Conti) and I find it really useful to have a list in front of me so I'm not overusing the same activities. Have a look and let me know if anything needs explaining, or adding!

I shamelessly stole this version of 5 a day from our English department as they found it fit seamlessly into the start of their lessons. All students know what to do and just come in and get on with it. It also meant that for Spanish, they only needed a basic introduction to the concept and then they just got into it at the start of each lesson.
The idea is that they complete 5 retrieval questions at the start of each lesson.
